The material used is the same as that used in conventional functional sportswear in winter sports or running and is similar to Lycra®. Functional headbands are extra wide, ultra light and consist of a high proportion of elastane. The special material composition has useful functions:
It makes these promotional items breathable, sweat-absorbing and moisture-transporting and therefore quick-drying.
How? By quickly transporting moisture from the skin to the outside of the functional headband. Here it can evaporate more quickly, which means the body stays dry and does not cool down. This highly elastic outer material ensures a very high level of comfort.

Unlike the classic terry cloth headbandThe functional headband is made of a special blend of polyester and elastane. Similar to Lycra® and fabrics used in functional sportswear, for example in winter sports. The material is extremely light and its elasticity makes it super comfortable to wear. We generally always produce our functional headbands in two layers. This offers your promotional gift recipients the best comfort and functionality.
In addition, the functional material used has the following positive properties:

Functional headbands made of elastane (Lycra) are the most frequently ordered by our customers. It offers the best properties for sporting activities, both in summer and winter. In addition to this material, we also offer these alternative material compositions:
We can also make these running headbands from microfiber, the same material used in Multifunctional scarves / tube scarves / loop scarves This has the same positive properties as the Lycra®-like material, but differs slightly in its feel.
Another option is jersey material, made from 100% cotton. It is only slightly less elastic than the microfiber or elastane variants, but this material feels a little more natural for most wearers. And some of our advertising customers appreciate this variant because of the special "jersey look" that they find to be a perfect fit for their marketing campaign or promotional activity. In summary, a little less sporty, but a little more natural.
Our fourth material option is the production of sports headbands in fleece. Micro fleece can be printed on the outside with your logo or desired motif, even photorealistically or reflective. On the inside you can choose between fine micro fleece (a little flatter) or fluffy polar fleece (a little coarser and thicker). This option is particularly suitable for winter sports or for events in ski resorts such as ski huts, après-ski parties or season opening celebrations.
You can also have the three versions made of elastane (Lycra), microfiber and jersey (cotton) fitted with fleece on the inside. This makes the items a little less breathable, but significantly more heat-insulating and wind-protective.
Which of the four material model variants, in which combination, is “better” for you is purely a matter of personal taste and can be determined by you as the client.

As standard, we deliver the functional headbands in a transparent polybag. Optionally, a cardboard insert or flyer printed with advertising can be included in the packaging, or packaging with a printed cardboard carrier can be ordered. For sustainability reasons, we are also happy to deliver to our customers unpacked. The items are not damaged or impaired during transport.
